Congratulations, friends! If you find yourself on my page that means you are most likely recently engaged and getting married! Or maybe you’re just looking to have the everyday documented and that’s a reason to celebrate too!

My philosophy is this: Every little moment matters. The goosebumps on her back, the way he stares at her all day, the under the table hand hold, the pair of shoes kicked off to the side, or grandma snapping a picture on her disposable camera; these are the moments that make your big day. I believe running and screaming children are beautiful and that you don’t need a special occasion to get your photos taken. My images are about capturing all those seemingly insignificant or unnoticed moments in an artistic and timeless way.
Whatever your vision for the day, I want to work together to create an experience that’s uniquely yours.

Catching the emotions of life + love.

here’s the deal…

I care. About you. A lot. I care about who you are, what your story is and how one of the most precious days of your life feels. After capturing many weddings and planning my own this past year, I've learned one major thing: the details really don't matter. (wish I could've told myself this as a bride) What does matter, is how you felt that day and preserving that feeling for years to come.
Tornado speed winds may sweep through and your bridal party and vendors have to hold your tent down until it passes, the seating chart might be missing half the names, or maybe one of the groomsmen realizes he forgot his suspenders 10 minutes before the ceremony. Or maybe it just so happens to down pour right as you say “I do” How cool is it, that no matter what chaos ensues, nothing can stop you from marrying your best friend? Love is truly unstoppable.
Here’s another scenario, you want family pictures taken but the kids won’t stop goofing around and their outfits are no longer perfect because right before I arrived they spilled chocolate milk all down their clothes.
If the above sounds like your nightmare and has the potential to prevent you from enjoying your day, we might not be the best fit.

BUT if you're the bride who grins walking down the aisle because your tent didn't blow away and you're just happy your ceremony is happening at all, 30 minutes late or not, or if you're a couple that doesn't mind enjoying a few extra drinks as people find whatever open seat they can, if you're a groom that will get a kick out of heckling Joe for years to come because he had one job as a groomsmen and he failed to do it, if you’re going to embrace the rain, dance and take some epic photos, or if you’re in love with your messy chaotic family and know that’s just how life goes sometimes, then I think we're going to get a long just fine. (More than fine, honestly, probably new best friends.)
